One of the biggest projects we're currently developing will take MUCK Up into a new space in 2027.

I Respect is being delivered through the Apex Club of Milton Ulladulla’s MUCK Up initiative with funding through the NSW Government’s Game On for Change program.

We’ll be working with local sporting organisations to bring together Youth Leaders, coaches and adult mentors to help build sporting cultures based on respect, inclusion, positive relationships and leadership.

Young people aged 13–16 will be selected by participating organisations as Youth Leaders and will come together for an overnight Leadership Camp at Shoalhaven Ski Park on 13–14 March 2027.

They'll undertake leadership development, be connected with adult mentors and, most importantly, be supported to take ideas back into their own sporting environments.

Because our approach is simple:

We’re not going to spend the year telling young people what respect should look like. We want them to help create it.

Our Youth Committee member Bella recently spoke about I Respect on Power FM and bravely connected what we're trying to achieve with the much harder conversations our community and country continue to have around gender-based violence.

MUCK Up isn't afraid to have difficult conversations when they matter.

We believe prevention starts well before violence occurs – in our relationships, our language, the behaviours we accept, the examples we set and the cultures we create around young people.

And at its simplest: Kindness is one of the most important forms of respect.

Sporting organisations have already begun reaching out to us about becoming involved, and we'll continue those conversations over the coming months.
